It's a shame the assertive MC and heroine are wasted on an uninteresting story with no clear motivation for him to do anything.

Started out interesting but it became extremely boring and bland. If this tries to be slice of life it does a terrible job.
So I'm a man of culture, I like fanservice,but the sex here is like seriously boring and overused as it is... I think the author has no idea where to go from here on...
Not to mention the release is incredibly slow. Well still better than being axed like a lot of great mangas.

The WN reads like a trashy Diary/Let's Play and best read under that mindset, if at all.

LN art is nothing special, vol 9 scans are still around.

The only reason I'm even looking at this is because (Cxx) [TUKIBUTO (氷樹一世)]. Really wish Hyouju Issei was paired with a good writer or himself. Sadly good artists paired with trash writing is nothing new.

got a pretty mature artstyle, and hell, he can write a good subtle plot too, see his akagi/kaga stuff. Subtle details about festivals, dreams and wo-class.

I think [Warp] did cut a lot of possibility for history development, you know travelling is also part of the charm on Novels/Mangas

There is an alternative, its almost the same development but less eros, it did come later and is considerably more elaborated, but the art is not the worst but also not closer to this

Honestly, this is probably one of the best Isekais out there. It's harem and all, sure, but it's tastefully done, the MC isn't a pathetic little bitch and it kinda makes sense.

The only small grief I have with it is that Roxanne doesn't seem to know she's in control of herself. It looks like she believe she's doing it half because she's forced to, half because she wants to.

Like she's got that "He is my master, not my lover, I have to submit even if I like it." idea, while the guy, in his mind, he's convinced Roxanne is giving herself to him out of her own free will.

It would be great if the Author addresses this. Have the MC unequivocally tell her she's her own master of her own free will or outright free her as a slave. That her being free doesn't mean she has to go.

Apart from that? Yeah, it's a good manga.

I swear they lucked out hiring this artist to do this manga justice... This manga is one of the perfect example of Manga adaptation enhancing the experience from reading the LN.
