I can teach disaster preparedness and hope that no one is ever in a natural disaster. With sex education, you can teach kids but still want them to wait until they reach a certain age/maturity.

In some states you can't purchase tobacco products until you are 21.

It really is a mess, created by well-meaning politicians who just want to "protect children." The problem is, they can't agree on what a "child" is.
