@feha that's because this is not a whole chapter, only a fraction, a common occurrence in Kirei Cake releases. If you look at the raws, the chapter are 50-80 pages long.

My first instinct here is to have him charge them fees for demonstrations or an interview or whatever. It won't get them to leave him alone entirely, but firstly it's profit and secondly it makes bothering him their problem too.

This chapter ended really poorly, almost as if it was mid-dialogue.

i don't like the town, weren't they mocking him for being a fallen adventurer in chapter 1??? suddenly they all want a piece of him. i like that he's getting recognized but i hate this town. plus they were being scary and crowding him WHEN HE HAD A CHILD WITH HIM!!! how dare they!! anyway i want the hero party to suffer, JUSTICE FOR DOUGLAS!!!!!
