@youiri65 I think it's more likely, with the flag that about bad things happening there, that something happened to his sister. Maybe raped, killed, or kidnapped. But if he has all his nearest members bad luck would everything start turning out poorly for him but better for his family. Is that why she thinks he'd thank her?

@ColonelCrips The entire family is in this shitty situation because of that guy. Unless he pays back what he squandered using MC's identity, I can't really say "he's a good guy" or "at least he warned MC". That's really the very least he could do. He's a remorseless character at this point IMO.

From the general, non H, stories from Korea, it's gonna get pretty close to it. He'll likely intervene before insertion, but I wouldn't take "close call" off the table.
However, this is just a generalization of their writing tropes. And with his "bad luck" being bumped up by a certain someone, I wouldn't be surprised if they go a little dark.
