Looks like Chloe is determined to make the best of things. Btw, while a shame she cut her hair for two reasons. First is that as Chloe she originally had short hair and had to grow it out as "princess" Beatrice. Second is to avoid being recognized as a former princess. As a common slave while she might get ordered around or bullied a bit the other servants and nobles are less likely to go out of their way to bully her, especially considering she does good work and has a cheerful attitude. However, if recognized as a princess there will be those who look down on her and want to show their superiority by bullying her since normally they'd get in big trouble for even speaking badly of a princess.
