stop complaining geez. this is a fun series so just go back to Solo Leveling if you want some "serious" fighting. BTW, I dropped Solo Leveling around chapter ~40 cause it got boring to me, but you dont see me complaining about it.

Man. I agree with most people here. Watchposts without a horn or something to sound an alarm. Guards, that just refuse to do their jobs. They really deserved to be overrun the first time around.

Also Pram really should have known it better. In those floating displays not much information is given. You'd expect people to mind every bit of it as useful. Why didn't he just raise the acknowledgement level? It would have been simple. Just give your fellow guardsman a good trashing in mock battles. Done!

And just one big explosion and the whole invasion becomes a lot harder for those bastards!

And the pacing really does suck. There has been some time between chapters and there should have been a bit more in this one to satisfy the readers. A bit acknowledgement of the lord or some more advancement in the situation of the poor. Something, even if it doesn't amount to much later would have been fine, so that thge reader would at least have felt like she/he wouöd have read sopmething with content.

Yelling into a blizzard isn't going to do anything, but the guard towers not having an alarm system is pretty dumb. Even if Desir doesn't know what the alarm system is, Pram definitely should since he's a guard, but considering Pram's idea of alerting the other tower was to run to it, I don't think he knows what the alarm protocols are either.
