Wonder why Mu wanted the attack televised? After all, he's suppose to be under house arrest and being questioned so being exposed could be damaging. Although since the Dowager had Pleides join the Anti-Dragon Alliance which declared war on Daxia I kind of wonder why bothering with the farce. Seems kind of stupid to declare war on Daxia while a Daxian fleet is on planet since Beiyang is only under wraps due to Daxia which could order them to immediately attack the palace as being hostile territory. In any case, the Violent Yayu's iron whip is doing just as much damage with crushing power as Yuan's scythe does cutting damage. Wonder why Shuiyuan hates technology so much? Lu still seems in danger despite being conscious considering Mu is still driving so fast, hope he is able to get her to Beiyang medical facilities quickly although should call ahead to have anti-venom prepared and waiting for them.

@sinisempi Does look like a mace. European swordbreakers' look the part more tho imo. Don't know if those notches in the rod actually help break swords as much as smacking a sword really hard till it snaps.

@Tych Another (western?) name for it is swordbreaker. I think it's supposed to have a pointy end, so you can thrust with it like it was a sword but otherwise it's more like a mace.

In past, whip has many forms, but this is the 1st time I saw Iron Whip in non-rope type. More like a steel forged baton and it considered as lethal blunt weapon due weight and force it generated easily crush your skull like smashing a cookie.
