Since it's just poison. I think it is fine if you just chew and taste the meat but spit it out later. In my country, we do have a dish that you have to spit it out and not swallow.

@Pika Maybe they ate it before. They mentioned that in Chinese cuisine, they will eat any animal that isn't human. Even if it is poisonous frogs, there will be ways to remove the poison. As my country is influenced by Chinese cuisine, I have seen people eating a lot of strange things. Pufferfish, cobra, scorpion, toad,etc. are poisonous but people still found a way to eat them however if they were not carefully prepared, they will still be deadly.

This part is what always have confused me when I was younger.... How do they know the taste of the deadly frog? I mean ok if they say something like "This is poisoned!", but they just up and say "This is that deadly frog that can instakill you!" How do they know its taste?
